a trbial sacred symbol from Dang, Gujarat.

While driving down from Saputara for Surat, I clicked this image. Saputara is a beautiful place though heading towards rapid commercialisation. This is a mid way between Surat and Shirdi. Located on the hilltop in the second largest tribal district of the country, Dang, this is the only mountainous holiday spot in the south Gujarat. It is around 160 km from Surat and has some descent stay options for the tourists. You get freshly plucked strawberries that women sell there very cheap. The other side of the mountain falls in Maharashtra and famous for grape cultivation, vineyards. Nashik is around 90 kms from Saputara.
